(Resident Liaison Officer) job involves acting as the main point of contact between residents and the company’s operations teams, managing communication about construction or maintenance work, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include updating residents on work processes, coordinating with site teams, handling complaints, and providing customer aftercare. This role requires strong communication, empathy, and often requires travel and a valid driving license.
Key responsibilities
  • Communication: Keep residents informed about planned works, processes, and any changes or updates through newsletters, meetings, and visits.
  • Liaison: Act as the primary link between residents, the client, and the operations teams to manage expectations and facilitate communication.
  • Customer service: Provide excellent customer aftercare, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and that residents are satisfied.
  • Issue resolution: Professionally and empathetically handle and resolve challenging situations and manage complaints.
  • Logistics: Coordinate the handover of keys to site teams.
Requirements
  • Experience: Ideally, previous experience in a resident liaison, community engagement, or customer-facing role for a contractor or client is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and handle difficult situations with empathy and resilience.
  • Technical: A valid driving license and your own vehicle for travel are required.
  • Professionalism: The role requires a high level of discretion and respect in a public-facing position.
