Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer
Location: Covering Oxford, Reading, Slough, Winchester and Guildford
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum + £4,560 Car Allowance

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to support housing and property improvement projects across Oxford, Reading, Slough, Winchester and Guildford.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to join a well-established property services environment on an initial contract basis with the potential for a permanent position.

In this role, you will act as the main point of contact between residents, site teams and project stakeholders, ensuring residents are fully informed and supported throughout refurbishment, maintenance and planned works programmes. You will play a key role in maintaining positive resident relationships while helping projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents during planned maintenance or refurbishment works.

  • Ensure residents are kept fully informed of project timelines, progress, and any potential disruptions.

  • Build positive relationships with residents to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Manage resident queries, concerns and complaints, ensuring they are handled professionally and resolved promptly.

  • Work closely with site managers, contractors and project teams to coordinate resident communications.

  • Carry out resident visits, pre-start meetings and follow-up checks where required.

  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and case updates.

  • Support the delivery of projects while ensuring minimal disruption to residents.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, or in a similar customer-facing role within housing, construction, or property services.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage resident expectations and handle sensitive situations professionally.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Experience managing complaints or customer enquiries.

  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites.

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.

  • Must have access to your own vehicle.

  • Willingness to travel across Oxford, Reading, Slough, Winchester and Guildford.
