My client is looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor with a repairs and maintenance background to line manage a team of surveyors to build on and improve the surveying service.
Reporting into the Surveying Manager, you will line manage a team of up to 10 surveyors and work closely with internal teams including Housing, Direct Maintenance, Minor and Major Works, Leasehold Teams and others.
You will lead by example and be confident in your ability to diagnose repairs and specify remedial works using the NHF schedule of rates. You’ll have experience in working in a similar role at a similar organisation and be able to motivate your team to deliver excellent results.

To be considered candidates must be able to display:

  • People management experience
  • Professional qualification in Building Surveying or qualification through relevant experience
  • An understanding of Section 20 processes
  • Demonstrable experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Application of NHF schedule of rates
  • Ability to influence and manage relationships with important stakeholders
  • Comprehensive IT skills covering the full suite of Microsoft Office Packages
