Repairs Planner (Social Housing)
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £28,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a well-established organisation within the social housing sector. The Role
As a Repairs Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating maintenance and repair works, ensuring that operatives are effectively scheduled and that all jobs are completed within agreed service levels. You will act as a central point of contact between tenants, operatives, and internal teams, delivering a high standard of customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and planning repairs and maintenance works for operatives

  • Managing diaries to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls from tenants, contractors, and internal teams

  • Prioritising emergency and urgent repair requests

  • Monitoring job progress and ensuring works are completed within SLAs

  • Liaising with operatives and subcontractors to resolve scheduling issues

  • Updating systems accurately with job status, notes, and outcomes

  • Delivering excellent customer service and managing tenant expectations

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a repairs planning or scheduling role within social housing is essential

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience using scheduling systems and housing management software

  • A proactive and problem-solving approach
