Repairs Planner
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Contract: Permanent
Role Overview
Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring maintenance and repair works across social housing properties, ensuring operatives and contractors are efficiently deployed and residents receive a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and allocate work orders and appointments for repairs and maintenance operatives

Manage and optimise daily schedules using job management systems

Monitor job progress and ensure completion within SLAs

Liaise with residents to arrange and confirm appointments

Coordinate with operatives, supervisors, and contractors to ensure resources and materials are available

Respond to emergency repair requirements

Maintain accurate records of work orders, schedules, and resident communications

Support performance reporting and operational improvement

Handle resident queries and complaints professionally
About You
-
Experience in planning, scheduling, or coordination (housing, construction, or maintenance preferred)

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Confident IT user (Microsoft Office and scheduling/job management systems)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Able to manage high volumes of work and changing priorities
