Job Title: Planner (Social Housing)

Contract: Temp to Perm
Rate: £17 p/hr
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Planner.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a planner who has previously worked within social housing repairs, maintenance, or planned works and understands the fast-paced, reactive nature of this sector.
The Role
As Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance works within occupied social housing properties. You will act as a key link between residents, operatives, supervisors, and clients to ensure appointments are efficiently managed and service levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling reactive and planned maintenance works for operatives
- Managing diaries to maximise productivity and meet SLAs
- Coordinating emergency and urgent repairs
- Liaising with residents to confirm and rearrange appointments
- Monitoring job progress and updating systems in real time
- Ensuring compliance with client KPIs and contractual targets
- Handling high volumes of calls and planning requests
- Supporting supervisors with resource allocation
Essential Requirements
- Experience scheduling operatives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of KPIs and service level agreements within social housing
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when dealing with residents
- Strong IT skills and experience using scheduling systems
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise urgent works
- Available for a long-term temporary assignment
