Job Title: Domestic Plumber – Social Housing

Location: Richmond

Salary: £40,000 + Van and Fuel Card
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday (with optional overtime and call outs)
Contract: Permanent


About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Domestic Plumber to a rapid growing social housing contractor, working within the social housing sector. You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations in tenants’ homes, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and small installations in domestic properties

  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults quickly and efficiently

  • Work safely in occupied and void properties, ensuring minimal disruption to residents

  • Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner

  • Keep accurate records of work completed using a PDA or job management system

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations at all times


Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience in domestic plumbing, ideally within social housing or a similar environment

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fault finding, and repairs

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Full UK driving licence (company van provided)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
