Job Title: Domestic Plumber – Social Housing
Location: Richmond
Salary: £40,000 + Van and Fuel Card
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday (with optional overtime and call outs)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Domestic Plumber to a rapid growing social housing contractor, working within the social housing sector. You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations in tenants’ homes, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and small installations in domestic properties

Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults quickly and efficiently

Work safely in occupied and void properties, ensuring minimal disruption to residents

Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner

Keep accurate records of work completed using a PDA or job management system

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations at all times
Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)

Previous experience in domestic plumbing, ideally within social housing or a similar environment

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fault finding, and repairs

Good communication and customer service skills

Full UK driving licence (company van provided)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
