Day-to-Day Duties
- Lead and manage small projects, survey, and supervise a team of electricians.
- Signing off EICR certificates
- Manage daily operations to ensure works are completed successfully within the required timeframe, specifications, and client needs.
- Document work using the company’s software and report to your manager.
- Plan, manage, and oversee all works, including variations or delays, and notify clients as necessary.
- Coordinate with management to ensure adequate labor and sub-contractor resources are available on site.
- Oversee materials and deliveries to ensure alignment with the program and project specifications.
- Motivate and manage site staff, supervisors, field engineers, and subcontractors to meet targets.
- Ensure workmanship and material standards comply with specifications, building regulations, health and safety legislation, and company policy.
- Act as the primary contact between the Contracts Manager and site personnel.
- Oversee RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), toolbox talks, and documentation.
- Verify all inspection and testing results promptly to avoid delays, maintaining due care during verification.
- Stay updated with industry regulations.
- Act as the QS for the company’s electrical division and participate in NICEIC annual assessments.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results for clients and colleagues.
Minimum Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
- City & Guilds 18th Edition certification.
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation.
- Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent certification.
- Skilled in fault finding, testing, and inspecting the work of others.
- Supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and technology usage.
- Experience working on social housing contracts or similar environments.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Possess necessary tools.

- Competitive salary: £55,000.00 – £58,000.00 per annum (3-month initial review).
