We are currently recruiting for an HR Administrator to join a well-established organisation based in Finsbury Park on a 6-month fixed term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing a high-quality service to both employees and managers.

You’ll play an important role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding new starters through to leaver administration, while ensuring HR systems and records remain accurate and up to date.

πŸš€ Key Responsibilities

As an HR Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and issuing new starter offer packs and employment documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Coordinating the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring systems are updated and relevant teams, including Payroll, are notified.
  • Processing employee changes, including promotions, salary changes, contractual amendments, bonuses and changes to working hours.
  • Managing leaver administration and ensuring all relevant processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Responding to employee and manager queries, providing first-line guidance on HR policies, procedures and processes.
  • Managing HR workflow requests and ensuring employee data is processed within agreed service levels.
  • Processing employment reference requests in line with data protection requirements.
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of HR information and resources.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider HR team as required.

🎯 About You

We’re looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working within an HR administration or HR support role.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or above, or equivalent HR experience; CIPD Level 5 would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information professionally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence dealing with employees, managers and stakeholders at different levels.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to HR administration.
  • Strong IT and HR systems skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and HR databases.
  • A genuine commitment to providing a high level of internal customer service.
