Resident Liaison Officer (RLO)
£30,000 – £34,000 + £3,000 Car Allowance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a well-established contractor delivering social housing works across multiple London boroughs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and professional RLO who is passionate about resident engagement and delivering a high standard of customer service within social housing environments.
The Role
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the key link between residents, site teams, and the client. You will ensure residents are kept fully informed throughout the works, manage expectations, and handle any concerns or complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
You will be required to travel across East, North, West, and North West London, therefore a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for residents before, during, and after works

Carry out pre-works visits, resident introductions, and engagement activities

Deliver clear communication through letters, phone calls, emails, and face-to-face visits

Manage resident queries, concerns, and complaints, escalating where required

Work closely with site managers, planners, and client representatives to ensure smooth delivery

Maintain accurate records and reports in line with company and client requirements

Identify and support vulnerable residents, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed

Ensure a positive resident experience and high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements

Proven experience working as a Resident Liaison Officer (essential)

Experience within social housing / planned works / repairs & maintenance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Confident handling complaints and challenging situations

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple sites

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential)

Ability to work independently and manage your own diary

Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
