Role:
Responsible for the day to day running of the project on site under supervision of the Site Manager and in relation to all associated Fire Stopping works, Fire Door installations & Fire Door Maintenance. You will be required to keep the project within the timescale and manage any delays or problems encountered on site. Also involved in the role is the management of ordering materials, quality control, health & safety checks and inspections as well as compliance.
Responsibilities / Key Duties:
- Provide high level customer service and ensure compliance to all company’s rules and regulations
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to customer/client enquiries in responsive manner
- Procure all materials in an effective manner in line with company procurement policy ensuring deliveries can be planned and best value provided.
- Ensure no impact to works through shortage of or incorrect materials
- Supervise daily on-site operations including, but not limited to, productivity, H&S, Quality, Supply Chain and directly employed labour
- Organise site review meetings
- Monitor all company activities and ensure compliance with company procedures and policies
- Develop, train and induct employees to achieve and maintain designed staffing pattern
- Coordinate with management to plan activities for higher productivity
- Coordination and supervision of all works on site ensuring necessary benchmarks and hold-points are recorded
- Making safety inspections and ensuring construction along with site safety
- Maintaining quality control procedures and contemporaneous records
- Ensuring all accidents/incidents/near hits are reported in accordance with Company guidance for timescales and processes
- Updating programme on regular basis
- Produce RAMS for any work activities required and as agreed with the Head of FRA at commencement and during works. Ensure no task is undertaken without correct RAMS being in place and approved
- Report to the Site Manager on all site activities including but limited to Labour, Time, Quality and Progress. Reporting to be in accordance with Company procedures.
Education / Qualifications:
- NVQ 3/6 in a construction related subject (desirable)
- Full clean driving license
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- 3 Day first aid
