Domestic Gas Engineer

£42,000-£48,000 per annum | Brentwood & Surrounding Areas | Social Housing

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of an established client seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join their team, covering Brentwood and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer with strong fault-finding skills and experience carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance within domestic social housing properties.

The successful candidate must be confident working on a range of domestic gas appliances, including gas cookers and gas fires.

The Role

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of domestic gas appliances.

• Diagnose faults and complete domestic gas repairs.

• Work across social housing properties in Brentwood and surrounding areas.

• Service and repair boilers, gas cookers and gas fires.

• Complete gas safety checks and relevant certification.

• Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations.

• Provide a professional service to tenants and residents.

• Complete job sheets and maintain accurate service records.

Essential Requirements

• Valid ACS gas qualifications and current Gas Safe registration.

• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing and repairs.

• Experience working within social housing or similar residential environments.

• Experience servicing and repairing gas cookers and gas fires is essential.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
